Paddle & Portage Photo Gallery by Greg Dixon | It was a great day for Paddle and Portage 2007. Boaters paddled out from James Madison Park in Madison, Wisconsin. They hauled their canoes and kayaks over the Madison Isthmus by the State Capitol, where a second photographer took their pictures on King Street as they carried their boats overhead. They headed to Law Park in Madison, where they launched across Lake Monona and paddled to Olin Park.
